Kathleen is a freelance makeup artist born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Her interest for makeup started when she was 18 years old, thanks to a "Beauty Pageant" training, nevertheless she didn't become a beauty queen. Despite having a degree in Biology Science, in 2012, she decided to shift gears and moved to Paris, France to study professional photography at Spéos Photographic Institute, where she not only took pictures but also did makeup collaborations with some of her classmates. Since then her interest and love for makeup lead her to attend the Summer School program at Make Up For Ever Academy in 2013.

Next step was to learn more about special Special Effects Makeup and pursuing a career in the film industry, as a makeup artist, so she relocated to Los Angeles in 2014 to join the Master Program at Cinema Makeup School. After graduating in February 2015, she followed up her education with other programs at this school, including workshops with Ve Neill, Eryn Krueger Mekash, and others. Later on, she continued her training by assisting other makeup artists in feature films, shorts, and so on.

 As part of her work experience, she has collaborated in projects with film schools such as American Film Institute, USC Cinematic Arts, Los Angeles Film School, among others. Also worked with known and up-and-coming actors and actresses. The journey in this industry still goes on as part of a newer generation of filmmakers, along with her husband who also works in the film industry. Being part of a team to create something that will reach an audience is part of her motivation, besides helping people to feel the best version of themselves. The power of makeup is limitless, either by bringing to life a character on the screen or just to enhance the natural beauty of her clients.
